Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Streaming Browser (the "app"), a macOS application published by Kodeora ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Mac devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not redistribute, modify, reverse-engineer (except where local law expressly permits), rent, or sublicense the app.

2. The streaming services are not ours

Streaming Browser is an independent third-party browser. We are notaffiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, Twitch, Peacock, Paramount+, Showtime, Facebook, or Vimeo. All trademarks belong to their owners. Each service has its own terms, subscription requirements, and privacy practices that you must comply with separately.

3. Pro subscription and lifetime purchase

The app offers two upgrade paths from the free tier:

Annual subscription with a 7-day free trial, then renewing at $19.99 USD per year (local-currency equivalent in other regions).
Lifetime: a one-time non-consumable purchase of $34.99 USD that unlocks all current Pro features and any future updates.

Subscription terms (required by Apple). Your payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The annual subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled per Apple's standard refund policy at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't have direct access to your transaction and can't issue refunds ourselves.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app to:

Circumvent any digital rights management protecting streaming content
Download, redistribute, or reproduce copyrighted content
Violate any streaming service's terms of use
Engage in any unlawful activity or interfere with others' use of the app

6. Third-party content

The app loads content from streaming websites you choose to visit. We don't host, serve, decrypt, or modify that content. We are not responsible for its accuracy, legality, or availability. Disputes over third-party content should be raised with the service provider directly.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation, that the app will work with every streaming service forever, or that DRM-protected playback will succeed on every site.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kodeora and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for it in the prior twelve months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. The license to the app ends automatically on termination, but the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and miscellaneous sections survive.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. The "Effective" date above will reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
